Service Alert United Kingdom

Amber heat warnings have just been upgraded by the Met Office to red weather warnings for large parts of England and some of Wales for Wednesday and Thursday this week. Red weather warnings are the most serious warning and indicate a risk to health.

The Met Office has issued a red weather warning for extremely high temperatures for parts of England and Wales on Wednesday 24 June and Thursday 25 June 2026. A red warning for extreme heat reflects that temperatures are likely to rise to 37-40c in some parts of the UK.

This will have an impact on the work of all off our Carriers operational teams. When red weather warnings are in place, They follow government guidelines and cease work outdoors in the areas covered by the warnings for the time the warnings are in place.
