Freight Admin Assistant

Reporting to: Exports Supervisor

Location: Laindon

Working Hours: 10:30am – 19:00pm, Mon – Fri, occasional overtime required

Job type: 4 month FTC

Established in 2019, Pro Carrier is the exciting new cross border ecommerce delivery arm of DG International. The guiding principle of Pro Carrier is to allow our customers to find sending parcels cross border as simple as sending parcels within the UK. Your New Role

To assist the transport team with all admin requirements, including customs paperwork, light vehicle planning, invoicing, and any other day to day requirements which pop up within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Customs Paperwork,
  • Light Vehicle Planning,
  • Invoicing,
  • Adhoc requests.
  • Occasional overtime as required / requested.

What You’ll need to Succeed

To achieve all of that, you will be able to demonstrate and show evidence of:

  • Proficient use of MS Office
  • Freight Forwarding experience
  • Can do attitude
  • Team player

Personal abilities/skills

  • Basic understanding of export freight beneficial but not essential.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
